Some of us travel not for thrills, but for the peace that comes from being somewhere new — and finally at rest.

Welcome to “Looking4Adventures” – the travel blog for the introverted & sensory sensitive traveller (like us!)

Even better if there’s good food and, now and then, lovely company — depending on the presence of our travel friends or, let’s be honest, our mood. Sometimes we even stumble across kindred spirits in the most unexpected corners of the world.

So if you’re looking for adventures at your own pace, with room to breathe, you’re in the right place. Come wander with us.

Hey, I’m Carmen. A traveler who’s equal parts “I want to see every country in the world” and “Please, no airports or loud announcements ever again.” I’m also neurodivergent (or at least, I’m pretty sure my brain likes to do its own thing), but I haven’t gotten that official stamp of approval just yet. Consider this a pre-diagnosis adventure diary.

I share what helps me survive travel chaos, avoid sensory meltdowns, and still find joy in exploring new places—preferably with minimal queues and maximum coffee.

Meet Bas — my trusted companion and fellow traveler.

He’s my safe person, the one who makes encountering others feel so much easier. With him, I’m fully myself — and braver than I’ve ever been.

A fellow geek and introvert, Bas is often found gaming or making sure we’re well-fed. And when it comes to travel, he’s usually the mastermind behind our plans, maps, and logistics.
